How it works
No app. No portal. Just a text.
One video visit to start. After that, your care lives in the conversation you already have open. Same number for everything, weight or otherwise, because it's all part of your Apios membership.

Simple Pricing. No Surprises.
One membership. Medication is billed separately based on what you're prescribed and whether insurance applies.
Where your medication cost comes from
Not from us. Your prescription is filled and billed by your pharmacy or the manufacturer at their price, with no markup from Apios.
Depending on your plan and what you're prescribed, that's either an insurance copay or a manufacturer self-pay program. Self-pay for FDA-approved options starts around $149 a month, and as low as $25 with insurance coverage.
We prescribe FDA-approved medication only. No compounded product, ever.
*Medication pricing changes often. Your physician helps you find the lowest legitimate price for your situation.
$129/month

You buy medication direct at your pharmacy's price. We never mark it up.
The Apios Difference

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Adults 18 and over who aren't on Medicare or Medicaid, and who have a primary care doctor or are open to finding one. We work alongside your PCP, we don't replace them.
-
We're not permitted to sell you out of pocket what your coverage already includes. That's patient protection, and your existing coverage is the better route.
-
When a GLP-1 is indicated for diabetes, your primary care doctor needs to manage it. That's usually better care and lower cost, so we'll point you there.
-
It depends on the product and where you buy it, and pricing shifts almost weekly. We track it and point you to the lowest legitimate price. We take no cut and add no markup, so we have no financial interest in what you're prescribed.
-
No trial month, no stripped-down tier. The evaluation, the prescribing, and the lifestyle program only work together.
-
No. The FDA has warned about unapproved and compounded GLP-1 products, including dosing errors and serious adverse events. We prescribe FDA-approved products only.
-
No. Your physician decides after your visit and your labs. If you're not a fit, we'll tell you why and where to go instead.
-
Not for the membership. For medication, possibly. Coverage for weight management is plan dependent. We'll build the documentation and push, but approval is your plan's decision. HSA and FSA dollars work for both.
-
Every dose adjustment, lab results explained in plain language, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, side effect management, prior authorization documentation, and unlimited text access to your physician for any medical question. Not just weight.
*We do not pay for labs or medication.
-
Your medication, which you buy direct at the best available price. Your labs, which Quest or LabCorp bills you for, and you keep access to your own results. Compounded medication, which we don't prescribe.
-
There are now FDA-approved daily GLP-1 pills, so treatment without needles is possible. Long-term adherence data is still thinner than for injectables. Your physician will walk you through the trade-offs.
-
Yes, after your first video visit.
-
Tell us. Your physician will manage the taper and what comes next.
